One of the most fulfilling aspects of writing a blog is meeting fellow writers and readers, and sharing ideas. This is what Share the Spiritual is all about. To each of you I’ve been privileged to connect with, thank you from my heart! In the future, I hope to collaborate on a post with Spencer from England at Share the Love. His poetry is refined and sublime, yet utterly revolutionary with love. For today, I’d like to share the work of another blogger the world needs to hear. Alice is an exceptional writer who is helping humanity to awaken. Enjoy her empowering, bold message!
Stop Blaming God by Alice of Awakening Starts Now
Thank God for _____; I guess what I prayed for isn’t part of God’s plan for me; This must be a test from God; Things aren’t working out so well… what’s God trying to say to me?
Blah blah blah. It doesn’t matter.
Whether you praise God or get angry at God, you’re still blaming God. Whether for positive or negative reasons, blaming is the act of assigning responsibility to something/someone outside of yourself. It’s an excuse. You give up all your integrity and power away every moment you blame another for anything, without exception, and that includes an external deity that’s separate from who you are.
One of the first signs of awakening humans is a new perspective on what God is, and their relationship to It. At some point, whether suddenly or gradually, you realize that God is not an invisible old fickle man in the sky who only doles out favors for you in return for your devotion. Instead, you come to know God as the ever-compassionate All That Is that is also all of who you are. The final realization is: Wow, I Am God also!
Whatever you are, God is. Whatever God is, you are. It knows only as much as you know, and doesn’t know what’s best for you any more than you do. God makes no decision on your behalf – the Compassionate One cannot by essence inflict Its will upon you. When you pray, you make-believe that you’re speaking to God, but all along you’re talking to your Self, pretending to be a puny little helpless human when you’re a God Self in your own right.
Your prayers are always answered. Why? Because as a Creator Being, you’re the one that allows the answering and not-answering of your prayers. There is no other God that says yes, no, or not now for you. That’s always been you. To say that God has blessed you with this or God is punishing you for that is to do yourself an enormous disservice to your God Self, and only slows your progress to permanent Freedom, which can only be had through taking full responsibility for all of your creations.
You were created from All That Is, and as such, have been given full Creator rights. God gave you full creatorship to answer all the prayers you ever uttered, and by the choice of your free will, you decided for yourself whether or not you wanted to grant them. If a prayer was answered, it was because you believed yourself worthy of it. If not, there was something in you that didn’t truly want it, or felt that you deserved it. At no point was there ever an outside force that judged whether or not you will have your prayers fulfilled. For the awakening human, there will come a time when he/she will let go of praying altogether, as I have, preferring to sit with Self instead and speak your wishes directly to It.
You, dear God, need to stop this childish game of blaming an external God – can’t you see that, in this circular relationship, you only end up blaming yourself? As long as you give up your responsibility, you will always remain helpless and hopeless – two things that will instantly dissolve once you choose to reclaim your Creatorship.
Be God. Be responsible. Answer your own prayers. Choose what you want, and let You, God, give you exactly what you want. If there ever was a plan from Source, that was the only plan It had for you – to allow you to create and enjoy without limitation, so that It may enjoy Its creations through you.
So dear Creator, let’s end the blame game today – and start creating the way to your Freedom!
Alice is the author of five blogs, including Awakening Starts Now. For years, Alice devoted herself to actively ‘seek’ via various spiritual/religious studies and practices. Then one day, she woke up to an inner message that said, “All the answers are within. Seek no more.” That same day, Alice dropped all her ‘spiritual’ methods and affiliations and began the inner look of her Self. She stopped ‘seeking’ and began to ‘find’ her own truth.
Phew! This is BIG!!! Momentous doesn’t cover it! This is the paradigm shift we as a species have been holding back on taking – somehow it’s easier to not take responsibility for our own existence eh? Once again the super switched on Suzy has delivered a key message at a key time – the fact we’re ready to hear this is hyper-invigorating and just a little scary for me. It’s just sublimely expressed Suzy, I am quite humbled yet empowered at the same time. All Love to All. Spence x
Thanks so much Spence! Isn’t Alice’s work amazing?! I love everything she’s written on Awakening Starts Now.
I love how you describe the paradigm shift. Thank you for helping us to make this shift through your extraordinary poetry and prose. It’s an honor to know you here.
You’re all total inspirations Suzy, Alice and James! I see now we will soon all be honoured by these amazing connections. I am humbled and honoured to be among such inspiring masters as those here. The unity here is palpable and what profundity lies within.
I find that the most important “thing” that we forget when we pray is not to ask for but to show our thankfulness by simply saying thank you God for all that we/I have. Alice is so on target with this blog. Yes it is time for all of earth’s humanity to look inside not only for the answers but for the forgiveness that we as humans find so difficult. Without forgiving ourselves we cannot stop blaming others or God and without the forgiveness we cannot love or accept love in return.
Yes it is time for all of earth’s humanity to look inside not only for the answers but for the forgiveness that we as humans find so difficult. Without forgiving ourselves we cannot stop blaming
so true James and so delightfully put!
Thank you James for teaching us about self-forgiveness. You are showing us that this ends the blame game that starts inside.
I think that collective forgiveness will truly allow humanity to evolve. We cannot move forward until we forgive ourselves and all who’ve ever hurt us on this human road. And perhaps it doesn’t have to be a grueling healing process. Maybe all it takes is a sudden shift in consciousness. I believe it’s entirely possible : )
Suzy, not only is it possible it is also only a short ALLOW away. We all seem to get caught up in our humanness and forget to allow life to give us all that is out there for us to have.
I remember on a daily basis that it is not those who hurt us but ourselves who hurt our now lives by not forgiving and loving ourselves. I keep being reminded of the song “All My Life Is A Circle” and we choose to make the circle smaller each time or larger. I chose to make mine larger with each passing moment and we all can by Allowing the Peace, Forgiveness and Love into our lives.
James, this word ALLOW has been what Caroline Myss refers to rather brilliantly as an “intuitive irritant” in my being for a while now – it is a concept that has gently asserted itself to the front of my awareness. I sense the tension in my being stands in the way of Love coming through and one can only disperse this tension by allowing to be (i.e. not resisting it) and therefore ALLOW the love to eclipse it and flow unimpeded through us. You are so right on in keeping the message of self-forgiveness to the forefront – we know we must forgive and that starts with ourselves otherwise how can expect to free others from our judgments…
Wow, thank you, Suzy, from the fullness of my being, for helping to spread my message. I see that there’s talk of forgiveness on the comment thread. Forgiveness is one of the most important elements to humanity’s ascension of consciousness. There is nothing to forgive, yet there is much to “fore – give.” I’ll leave it at that. Thank you again. I sometimes find myself holding back, but people like you inspire me and help me to see that there are those who understand and ‘know’ where I’m coming from. I appreciate the understanding, and the embracing. As an aside, out of all my blogs, “Awakening Starts Now” is me at my best behavior! :)
Best behavior – hilarious Alice! I love it : ) Keep leading the way. I encourage everyone to go to your blogs and read your work. It’s simply amazing.
+1 – I actually laughed out loud – at work! – to myself when I just read ““Awakening Starts Now” is me at my best behavior! :)”
Audacious! and so much more for that..brilliant!
I’m inspired to reacquaint myself with the very cheeky child I used to be by this! LOVE IT
Hahaha. Thank you, you two. People don’t call me AK-47 and All Killer No Filler for nothing! :) Although this particular blog was born from my wanting to explore a gentler side (as if my message wasn’t unconventional enough), there will still be many fireballs and flaming daggers thrown out along the way. The troublemaking brawler in me will show up in one way or another, except I have now learned to transmute my style to help myself (and others who chose to listen) cut through the veil of bullshit that clouds our consciousness. Those who know me know that I don’t fuck around. (Suzy hope it’s okay to use the f-bomb on your blog. It’s my favorite word, actually). ;)
Your authenticity is completely inspiring, Alice!!!
God is awful. I am part of God, therefore I am awful.
God is awesome. I am part of God, therefore I am awesome.
It’s all about choice.
what a sublimely succint comment!
As The Hawk says it is all about our choice in every moment. I choose the Light. Life is not about what you are given but about what you do with each and every instant. Thank you Hawk for stating it so simply.
Hawk, this is awesome, just as Spencer and James say. Thank you for shining your light here!
Look inside your heart and mind
when you search enough you’ll find
Truth has always been around waiting,
Just waiting to be found
Oh so true, and beautifully put!
When we do a”mind meld” then our whole being is Empowered? It is when our egoic mind takes over the power of the heart that we feel that we no longer have the power to live the life that we desire. I once again use my favorite word ALLOW your heart and mind to be as one. When we do our journey takes a different direction and moves into the empowered state.
God lives within each living thing! Reach in not out to find that love that empowers us to be the loving creatures that we are.
